Hey everyone! Welcome back.
Today I am going to talk about Urban Decay Naked Foundation. This formula is my all time favorite. I cannot tell you all enough how much I love this formula.
Urban Decay is one of my favorite brands of all time in the makeup industry. They have great products and are at every single Sephora store I have ever been to. Fully stocked and ready to be bought.
I could go on a whole rant about Urban Decay, but this is about their Naked Foundation. Now, I am shade 0.5, which is their fairest shade. As described on the website: “very fair porcelain shade, with subtle pink undertones”. And for someone whom has rosy cheeks and lots of freckles, this formula allows for some of that to peek through so your skin tone looks even, but you can still see your natural beauty.
As well all know, there are tons of different ways to apply foundation, but with this one, it has a creamy texture and is perfect if you want to mix it with Kat Von D’s foundation, which I have in other posts. But, I love this formula on its own.
Now, since it’s an aerosol type can, you need to shake it like you would spray paint. Then apply to your hand, beauty blender, or directly on whichever brush you use. And I blotch it on my face to get the most coverage. Usually one and a half pumps works enough for my face, but as I said, we’re all different 🙂
In the photo below I am wearing this foundation with some other products that I will get to in later posts. But one I DO want to mention is Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Androgyny. This color looks different on EVERY SINGLE SKIN TONE! It’s so versatile and amazing, and Jeffree Star has fantastic products.
But, on my face, all I have is the foundation to cover everything, then a blush and highlighter of course. But, I use no other foundation other than the Naked by UD.
I hope this is helpful!
